I’m a Sydney-based postpartum doula, pregnancy and motherhood mentor, and the mother of two little boys. I came to this work through my own transition into motherhood, and a deep curiosity about how women have been cared for after birth across cultures and time.

I’ve had a deep interest in wellbeing and holistic health for as long as I can remember. As a teenager and into my twenties, I lived with chronic fatigue and debilitating food intolerances, and for a long time I couldn’t imagine feeling truly healthy or energetic — let alone growing and birthing healthy children.

Being unwell taught me how to listen closely to my body and respond to what it needed. It showed me the power of nourishing food, gentle movement, and slowing down, and it cultivated a deep gratitude for the moments I felt well, strong, and alive.

When I became pregnant with my first baby, I was filled with anxiety. I worried my body wouldn’t cope with the demands of pregnancy, and I carried fears about passing on my own challenges to my child. I focused carefully on my nutrition, exercised, meditated — and still felt I needed more support than the brief, monthly midwife appointments could offer.

When my baby was born healthy and strong, I was genuinely amazed. Meeting him was profoundly healing. I realised my body wasn’t as broken as I’d believed, and that the years I had spent caring for myself had quietly laid the foundation not only for my own recovery, but for new life as well.

Postpartum, however, was hard — even with preparation. I remember thinking, How is this normal? How do people do this without being deeply supported? It felt clear to me that new mothers need far more care, nourishment, and emotional holding than our culture currently offers — not just for a few weeks, but for the many months that follow birth.

Around this time, I took a baby massage course with a postpartum doula, and learning about the role completely captivated me. Something clicked. It felt as though my life’s work had revealed itself. I became deeply devoted to understanding pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a sacred rite of passage — one that deserves time, reverence, and community care.

I’m a graduate of the Newborn Mothers Postpartum Care and Education training run by Julia Jones, endorsed by the Australian College of Midwives. I’m currently undertaking Shamanic Doula training with Lizzie Criner at Bronte Dispensary, which explores the unseen and transformative layers of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My love of nutrition led me to complete Lily Nichols’ Postpartum Recovery and Nutrient Repletion course, and I’m also a qualified pre- and postnatal yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training in Australia and the US.

Before this work, I spent more than a decade in arts marketing across high-profile organisations in Australia and overseas. That experience taught me how to build trust, work sensitively with diverse communities, and show up with consistency, care, and integrity — skills I bring into my work with mothers and families.

I understand how profoundly motherhood can reshape your sense of self, priorities, and identity. It would be an honour to support and care for you as you regain your strength and find your footing in this new season.

While my personal passion is cooking in alignment with an ancestral, whole-food diet, due to its nutrient density and anti-inflammatory benefits, I happily accommodate all dietary preferences and requirements. This includes vegetarian or vegan diets, cultural food practices, and any allergies or intolerances. My intention is always to nourish you in a way that feels safe, supportive, and aligned with your body.

An important note: I am highly sensitive to artificial fragrances found in air fresheners, scented candles, cleaning products, and perfumes. To ensure I’m able to visit and care for you safely, I kindly ask that these are removed or avoided during my time in your home. Thank you so much for your understanding and consideration.
