Postpartum Care Packages
Consistent, ongoing care can make a profound difference to a mother’s postpartum experience. Rather than a one-off visit, these care packages are designed to offer continuity, trust, and support over time.
The series of visits allows us to get to know each other, which means I can better understand what feels most nourishing for you, physically, emotionally, spiritually and practically.
Each package includes:
3-hour in-home postpartum visits (3, 6, or 9 visits depending on the package you choose)
The option to add on a 2 hour prenatal home visit for personalised postpartum planning ($180)
The option to include a nourishing meal and snack at each postpartum visit from Made for Mothers ($50/visit)
A monthly check-in call from the time you book
Free access to my monthly Mothers’ Circles
Postpartum care packages begin at $720.

Destiny, first-time mother
“As a first-time mother, I honestly didn’t think I would need postpartum support. I assumed I would just figure it out. But having Hats as our postpartum doula in those early months was truly invaluable. It felt like having a wise and caring friend come to nourish and support me during such a tender time.” read more
From India, China and Korea, to Latin America, Nigeria, Japan and First Nation Australia, many traditional cultures honour a protected window of postpartum care, often spanning three to six weeks, centred on rest, warmth, nourishment and support for the mother.
How I care for you
My intention is to offer postpartum care that is attentive, responsive and deeply personalised, focused on your wellbeing and support in the postpartum period. I come prepared, but will always be guided by what you need most on the day.
As you care for your baby, I am here to care for you too. This reconfiguring of your organs, brain, cells, identity and relationships deserves more than tea and toast and a good luck. Your nervous system has just been through something enormous, and it needs a place to land.
When I arrive, we begin in a relaxed way, just like you would with a trusted friend. I will sit with you and listen to how you are feeling and what has been happening since our last visit. I will pour you a warm drink, set the tone of the space with a candle or essential oils, and invite a moment of grounding. This might be a brief meditation, a breath together, or drawing a card, whatever feels right on the day.
From this place of calm, we shape our time together around what you actually need, whether that is rest, conversation, food, touch, ritual, or practical support in the home, so you feel held as you find your rhythm with your baby.
“From the moment Hats arrived, she brought such a calm, grounding energy into our home. I felt completely held and supported, able to ask questions, be nourished, and truly rest.
The meals, the broth simmering, the thoughtful touches, the foot bath… everything felt so intentional and unhurried. I genuinely felt like a queen, something I hadn’t felt in a long time.”
— Pei Li, second-time motherWhat we might do during a visit
A note on baby care: I am happy to hold your baby, and can offer suggestions for settling or burping that many families find helpful, along with sharing information when it feels supportive.
Every family finds their own beautiful way to care for their baby that works for them. My focus is on helping you feel steady and confident in getting to know your baby and making choices that work for you and your family. If you are looking for structured day-to-day newborn care guidance, I can also point you toward practitioners who specialise in that.

Next Steps
If you’re feeling the pull for support, this is a great place to start. Postpartum is a time to gather your village and accept all the help. Even in the most easeful births, there is a deep need for rest, nourishment and emotional support as you recover, bond with your baby and learn how to care for a newborn.
Every family is different, and the way I support you will meet you exactly where you are. We can shape our visits together as we go, because don’t to know ahead of time exactly what you’ll need.
If you’re unsure which package feels right, please reach out and we can work out what might best support you. Most mothers choose to book during pregnancy so we have time to prepare, with a dedicated postpartum planning session and monthly check-ins along the way. But no worries if you’re in the throws of postpartum only just realising you need a little more support - I’m here for you!
If you’re curious about postpartum care, or would like to explore whether we’re a good fit, I’d love to connect. You can email me at hats@pinkflamingopostpartum.com, message me on 0422 983 582 or book a discovery call below.

Because of Hats’ support, my postpartum experience felt very different the second time around. I felt more grounded, more supported, and more able to enjoy the newborn stage instead of just surviving it.
