Helping pregnant and new mothers feel deeply cared for and nourished during one of life’s most tender and precious times.

Why Postpartum Care Matters

The care a mother receives in the weeks and months after birth matters. Rest, nourishment, and support during postpartum shape how a woman recovers, how she feels in her body, and how she moves forward into motherhood.

Many traditions teach that the first 40 days after birth set the foundation for the next 40 years. This is a time for healing, replenishment, and being cared for—not rushing or doing it all alone. I’m here to support you as you rest, recover, and find your footing in this new season.

How I can support you

A postpartum doula and expectant mother talking together during a personalised pregnancy mentoring session, preparing for birth and the postpartum period in a warm, supportive environment.

Package and individual sessions are tailored to your pregnancy and postpartum needs. Some of the ways I can support you include:

  • Rituals that honour and celebrate the transition into motherhood and other significant milestones.

  • Emotional support so you feel heard and seen through the joys and challenges of becoming a mother.

  • Cooking nutrient-dense ancestrally-inspired meals for you and helping you make a food plan.

  • Practical care through planning, education, and helping you create firm boundaries.

  • Reducing the mental load by helping you prioritise the to-do list and finding ways to outsource jobs.

  • Connecting you to my network of relevant health professionals.

  • Sharing evidence-based information from qualified experts on pregnancy, birth, postpartum and general wellbeing.

  • Connection to a community who really get what you’re going through.

About Hats

I'm a postpartum doula, pregnancy and motherhood mentor and the mum of two little boys, living in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. When I had my first baby and learnt of the beautiful postpartum care that so many cultures around the world provide, it lit a fire in me to bring that care and nourishment to new mums in my community.

My passion is learning and sharing the sacred knowledge around birth and the practices used to nurse a new mother (or birthing person) back to strength. I understand how deeply motherhood can reshape your sense of self, and the need to be gently held through this transformation.

What clients are saying…

“Having Hats as my postpartum doula felt truly invaluable. She nourished me deeply, both through food and the thoughtful care she brought into our home. Her calm confidence, practical wisdom and ability to truly listen made such a difference as I found my feet in motherhood. It felt like being supported by a wise friend.”

Join our Mothers’ Circle

A monthly Mothers’ Circle in Coogee for pregnant women and mothers with babies under 12 months, offering community connection, conversation about Matresence/postpartum, guided breathwork and meditation, with tea and cake.

If you’re pregnant or have a baby under 12 months old (bubs welcome obvs), come and connect with some other gorgeous mums over cake and tea and meaningful coversation. It’s a relaxed circle with a different topic each week from nutrition and nervous system regulation, to relationship dynamics and sleep.

I guide you through a short meditation, bathe you in a mini shamanic drum journey, spritz delicious essentials oils around the room and invite you to share whatever is on your heart. The Circles are currently in Coogee in Sydney’s East.

Inclusive Services

While I use the term ‘mother’ predominently through my website, I am referring to all birthing people. I love caring for and working with queer families, people from different cultural backgrounds and people living with a disability. If you are interested in my services, but the cost feels prohibitive for your family, please reach out to see if we can find a way to give you the care that you deserve.

Pink Flamingo Postpartum Care & Wellbeing was named after the mother flamingo, who often loses her pink colour after giving birth. With time and nourishment, her vibrant colour returns.

In the same way, my work is about caring for you, so you can feel replenished, grounded, and supported to regain your vibrancy as you move through the early months of motherhood. Read more about this on the blog.
