Monthly Mothers’ Circles

Community and ritual for mothers, at every stage of the journey

A monthly invitation to gather, to step into a mindful space, with beautiful company, and be acknowledged as the wonderful mother (or mother-to-be) that you are.

Among flowers, crystals and cards, we’ll slow down together and talk about the season we’re in… in nature, in the cosmos, and in our own lives. We’ll reflect on the often demanding, deeply fulfilling work of mothering, and create space to share honestly, be witnessed, and feel held by a circle of like-minded women.

Each circle is facilitated by me, Hats, with a chosen theme or topic to guide our conversation each month (I will share questions to consider ahead of time is you want to, also fine not to). There is no pressure to speak. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether you come to share, to listen, or to soak up the energy of the group.

A home-made snack (I can cater to all dietary requirements) and a warm drink are provided, as we sip and share whatever is on your heart or mind.

This circle is for women who are pregnant or mums with babies under 12 months old. This is a relaxed baby-led space where feeding, settling and baby screams are welcome.

“I had such a lovely morning at the Mother’s Circle. The space was set up so beautifully with candles, tea and little treats, it felt really warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Harriet clearly puts a lot of care into it and made everyone feel comfortable and looked after.

I really enjoyed the drumming meditation moment, it felt like such a special little pause for myself. It was also so nice chatting with other mums, sharing experiences and just feeling understood and connected. It was such a calm, nurturing experience. I’d definitely recommend it to any mum or mum to be.”

About Hats

I'm a postpartum doula, pregnancy mentor, Mothers’ Blessing facilitator and mum of two little boys, living in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. When I had my first baby and learnt of the postpartum rituals so many cultures around the world hold for new mothers, something in me lit up. Sitting in a circle with other women is one of these age-old practices. The simple, but sacred act of gathering, listening and sharing, and passing down wisdom is so powerful.

I hold Mothers' Circle because meaningful connection and honest conversation in pregnancy and motherhood is often missing. I believe every mother deserves a room where she doesn't have to hold it together. Where the mess and the glory of early motherhood are both welcome, where knowledge and support move between women at every stage, and where showing up as you are is enough.
